About Jeff Tadokoro

I work with people through a strengths based perspective lens. My 28 plus years of clinical work includes that of Clinical Director, Crisis Clinician, In-home Clinician, Family, Individual, Group and Couples counseling as well as Administrative roles.  I work with a variety of issues including and not limited to:

•         Depression
•         Stress/Anxiety
•        Marriage/Family issues
•         School issues with Children and Adolescents
•         Substance Abuse
•         Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
•          Grief and Loss
•         Anger Control
•         Mid life change

I use a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Reality, and Solutions Focused therapy to help people Identify and meet their goals.

I have received training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Systems Therapy.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri and Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in Kansas. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology and Sociology from The University of California at Santa Barbara in 1984. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Kansas in 1994.
